Modeling and Recognizing User Activities in a Smart Environment

Participants:

Roman Arora, Master's Thesis (12/09)

Description:

Certain aspects on user activity recognition in smart environments have received very little attention, such as interwoven activity recognition and fault tolerance to noisy sensor information. The focus of this research is directed towards these issues and the application of different AI algorithms to improve modeling and recognition of user activities in a smart environments. Part of this research requires the development of the “Smart Room −Activity Analyzer” application, which offers the opportunity to the community to easily reproduce and create experiments and modify them to suit their smart environment.
